The rules to opening a stretch IRA are fairly simple. You will be able to start with a Traditional, Roth IRA, SEP IRA or Simple IRA to convert to a Stretch I.R.A.
A Stretch IRA is permitted through the use of naming benificiaries to handle assets contained in the IRA.
